Megan is a criminal and family specialist in the Todd Walker litigation team.

Megan’s family law expertise focuses on providing advice on care of children matters following separation, domestic violence and relationship property disputes. Megan makes regular court appearances on behalf of clients to assist them with such issues.

Megan is also an experienced criminal defence lawyer. She regularly appears in the Queenstown, Invercargill and Alexandra District Courts, often conducting Judge-alone trials and opposed applications. She regularly advises clients on several criminal matters, including drug offending, violence, dishonesty, traffic-related offences and limited licences. Megan is a Legal Aid registered provider.

Megan has strong ties to the South, having grown up in rural Southland and is now proud to call the Wakatipu Basin home. Megan graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts. Prior to joining Todd Walker, Megan spent time in the family and criminal law teams of a Central Otago law firm.
