Ben specialises in property and commercial law, and heads the Wānaka team. He advises on business sales and purchases, share sales and business structuring, commercial leasing, and residential and commercial property matters, including conveyancing and subdivisions. He also assists clients with estate planning, including trusts, wills and structuring of personal affairs.

Based in our Wānaka office, Ben has in-depth knowledge of the Queenstown Lakes region. Born and raised in Wānaka, he studied at the University of Otago and was admitted to the bar in Auckland. After working in both Auckland and Sydney, Ben returned to Wānaka where he worked for a general practice law firm for four years before joining Todd Walker. 

Ben most enjoys assisting clients through the various challenges there are to reach their end goal as efficiently and practically as possible. 

Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his young family and getting outdoors. He’s an avid mountain biker and snowboarder, and loves hiking, wakeboarding and golf.
